Apple and Microsoft Win Big in Congress

Friday the House of Representatives approved a controversial bill that makes some serious changes in the way that patents are handled. In addition to changing the fact that patents are handed to the first person to file an application rather than the first to develop a technology or innovation it also limits the amount of damages that can be awarded in the case of Patent infringement.
