I've written a couple of times here and quite extensively on other sites around the Internet about my ponds. I love having live fish in my yard but one thing I really haven't done a lot with are aquariums in the house but that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in them. As a matter of fact I was checking out the aquarium store over at http://www.aquariumguys.com earlier and they have some pretty cool stuff.

During the fall and winter when I start to bring all of my plants inside it becomes almost a jungle. I have Elephant Ears, lilies, Philodendrons and all sorts of exotic vines and plants that just look wonderful. I was thinking that it would be a pretty nice thing to add a couple of aquariums with tropical fish to my collection. It would really add to the way it looks in my house, even when the plants are outside. The good thing is that Aquarium Guys has books on fish and aquariums so that I can learn what I'm doing before I jump right in. It's almost funny. I have had a small aquarium in the house and kept a couple of fish but they didn't seem to do very well, yet I have had some of the same fish in my ponds outside for six years now and they are doing great if not flourishing. It's just a matter of knowledge and experience I suppose.
